Now I have another chance to make it to number 1 – this time with the title track from my EP “I Was the Girl” and I need your help. Will you vote? You can do it everyday, right here!

November love

I’m not entirely sure where I’m going with that headline as November and Love don’t tend to really go together for me; I have a curse, best not getting into that.

Anyway, the headline wasn’t completely random. I, the queen of it-takes-me-months-to-finish-a-song, finished what, in my humble opinion, is a pretty good (first draft) of a new song. It’s a love song. See? Everything makes sense now. I’m not sure where the idea for it came from but it’s about lasting love and overcoming obstacles, mainly distance – both physical and metaphorical: the distance that can happen a fight or a difficult time. For those of you who know my music, you know how very rare it is that I write a love song that actually is about being in a loving relationship; as romantic as I am, the gushy love songs seem too cliché for my liking. That being said, I think this song’s got something. I look forward to sharing it with you soon.
